Nomad Drive all vehicles — What Players Have Found

The RV is the core vehicle, but demo players have reported vans, campers and cars. What has been found, where, and how much to trust it.

Nomad Drive is built around one vehicle: the rundown RV you repair, upgrade and live in. As of 2026-10-16, the official Steam page describes "your rundown RV," its interactive parts and its customization options, and it does not list a roster of other drivable vehicles. So there is no confirmed "all vehicles" list yet — but players exploring the demo have reported finding more than one vehicle out in the world, and those sightings are the most useful thing available right now.

What the official material actually covers

The Steam page for Nomad Drive (developer and publisher Indie Devil) frames the game around a single RV: you begin with a rundown one, repair and upgrade each part, and personalize everything from the stove and fridge to the toilet and seating. A free demo has been available since June 15, 2026, and the page lists a planned Early Access release of October 20, 2026. None of that names a second vehicle.

The fan-run hub at nomaddrive.online has a "Nomad Drive Vehicles and Cars" page that takes the same careful line — it sticks to officially confirmed vehicle information and keeps unverified totals or locations separate. In other words, nobody has published a verified full vehicle list, and any list you see is player observation from the demo.

Vehicles players have reported finding

The fullest player account comes from a June 19, 2026 thread on the Steam Community discussions titled "other vehicles?". Reports there include:

  • A basic van, described by one player as the "default Volkswagen," which they say spawns in the starting area.
  • A camper / mobile home, reported under a watchtower about 5–10 minutes of driving from the start. A different player in the same thread said the camper was waiting for them roughly 5 minutes after setting off, near the poles on the left side of the road.
  • A regular car, seen in the open desert after about 20 minutes of driving. That player did not try to start it and did not know whether it could be driven.
  • The RV itself, which one player found at a gas station, while another found it at the first stop after leaving the house.

Treat this as a list of sightings, not a confirmed roster. Players use "RV," "van," "camper," "mobile home" and "Volkswagen" loosely and sometimes for the same vehicle, so two posts can describe the same thing under different names.

Why two players see different vehicles

Dolores Von Sunres, posting on September 29, 2026, reported that the world is generated from a seed, so replaying the same seed should place the same things in the same spots. They and a friend had encountered two playable vehicles — the default Volkswagen and a camper — and were playing on seed 13. In the same thread, another player believed the roads spawn randomly for each player. Meanwhile, one commenter reported four hours of driving without finding another vehicle at all.

So the practical takeaway is that vehicle encounters vary enormously between runs, and that the June and September reports above come from demo play, where placements can still change between updates.

If you are looking up a specific vehicle, the community naming splits roughly into: the starting van (sometimes called the default car or Volkswagen), the camper/mobile home, the RV, and the occasional car found in the open world. The RV-specific maintenance side — battery, fuel, coolant and radiator work — is covered on our related pages: Nomad Drive RV, Nomad Drive cars and Nomad Drive radiator.

Practical suggestions if you are hunting for a second vehicle

These are player habits, not confirmed mechanics:

  • Check the starting area thoroughly before driving off — one report places the basic van right there.
  • Follow roads toward landmarks. Watchtowers and gas stations come up repeatedly in player reports as places where vehicles were parked.
  • Note your world seed before starting a new run. If seed-based placement works the way the September post describes, that is the only reliable way to revisit a world where you already know where a vehicle is.
  • If you want to keep more than one vehicle running, one player suggested collecting spare parts such as engines, wheels and radiators as you travel.
